Accompanying school trips
Off-site visits are an essential part of what we offer the children- but they cannot happen without sufficient adult supervision, for which we rely on the support of parents.
When planning a visit teachers will inform parents of the date and time, and invite parents to get in touch if they are able to accompany the class.
We ask parents to be aware that if they do accompany the class they are taking on a supervisory role for the whole group, not just their own child. To assist parents in understanding how they may best hep the teacher leading the trip, we have a parent's guide which you can read here:
